What is the Coronavirus? COVID-19 had not been previously identified in humans. The coronavirus (COVID-19), is closely related to the SARS virus (COV-2). Ozone not only destroys the bacterial cell, but it does it without leaving a residual effect.
- A healthy bacillus bacterial cell (waiting to ruin your day).
- Zooming in closer, an ozone molecule (blue) comes into contact with the cell wall. The cell wall is vital to the bacteria because it ensures the organism can maintain its shape.

The virus found in Wuhan and SARS virus both belong to the coronavirus. Researchers found that the novel coronavirus is 80% similar to the SARS virus in their genome sequences.
